1550 Airport Boulevard

This project is located in Sonoma County’s rapidly growing Airport Business Park area. It features a pre-manufactured metal building system, thoughtfully clad in stucco, offering a cost-effective design solution tailored to the site's long, narrow one-acre footprint.

Following the client’s return from Italy, they requested that the architecture reflect elements of Italian style. WIX Architecture responded by designing a multi-tenant building that skillfully incorporates Tuscan influences. The design includes prominent tower elements anchoring two distinct two-story masses, one with pitched roofs and the other with flat roofs and parapets accented by traditional cornice moldings, which also help conceal HVAC systems toward the rear.

The use of rich earth tones, along with landscaping that features olive and cypress trees, further reinforces the project’s Tuscan character.
