This custom home was designed to fully embrace the sweeping panoramic views of Richardson Bay and the Belvedere Lagoon.
Primarily a single-level residence, the home had to be elevated above the 100-year floodplain, which required a 50-foot-deep micro-pier foundation system and perimeter walls engineered to withstand potential flood waters.
Drawing inspiration from the client’s San Diego roots, a beachfront architectural style was selected. With a growing family in mind, the design includes four bedrooms, a spacious family room open to a centralized kitchen, and an oversized laundry room to support the demands of daily life. The private master suite wing offers views of the San Francisco skyline, a generous walk-in closet with custom built-ins, and a spa-inspired bathroom.
The exterior features were thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and recreation, including a lap pool, pool house, and landscaped grounds with multiple areas for entertaining and a children’s play zone. A large private dock provides direct access to the lagoon for kayaking and waterfront enjoyment.
