Korbel Deli

In collaboration with architect Ed Sohl, AIA, and the client, this project introduced a much-needed food component to an existing sparkling and traditional wine tasting and production facility. The new structure is thoughtfully nestled among the redwood trees to the north of the existing tasting room, blending seamlessly into its natural surroundings.

The interior features a full-service commercial kitchen, retail display cases, wine racks, and a cozy dining area with bistro-style seating. To complement the indoor space, an expansive outdoor deck was added to take full advantage of vineyard views. Shaded by majestic redwoods, the outdoor seating area offers a relaxed setting for guests to enjoy sandwiches and beverages.

Conveniently located along River Road en route to the Sonoma Coast, this deli has become a popular destination for both tourists and locals seeking a scenic and satisfying lunch experience.
