Originally designed by Design Concepts in 1987, this home underwent a comprehensive renovation to better suit the clients’ current lifestyle, focusing on spaces for entertaining, play areas for grandchildren, and accommodations for an extensive wine collection. The renovation included expansions to existing rooms and decks, followed by all-new exterior stucco, roofing, and updated finishes.
The pool area was fully remodeled with new decking materials, wider entry steps, and a custom pool cover. This space now seamlessly integrates with a cut-and-cover wine cellar, designed to house a 4,500-bottle collection along with a dedicated wine tasting room. Above the cellar, an outdoor terrace was created, featuring a fireplace, BBQ, and pizza oven, perfect for hosting gatherings with sweeping views of the surrounding property.
Additional outdoor amenities include an arbor-covered bocce court and a dramatic fire pit seating area perched at the edge of a cliff. Below the fire pit, a climate-controlled wine storage building was constructed, further enhancing the functionality and luxury of this 10-acre estate.
