Pets Lifeline, a nonprofit organization serving the community since 1987,needed a major upgrade to its existing animal shelter facility to better meet current and future demands for fostering stray cats and dogs until adoption. The project involved remodeling and repairing existing buildings, as well as integrating various outbuildings and temporary trailer facilities into a cohesive and efficient campus.
The scope included the removal and demolition of outdated and temporary structures, followed by the construction of a new adoption center and veterinary clinic. Site improvements featured a redesigned parking lot, new concrete sidewalks, a trash enclosure, and decorative fencing surrounding the exterior animal play areas.
The first floor was thoughtfully designed to include interior and exterior canine kennels, acquaintance rooms, agility/play spaces, and veterinary offices. The second-floor houses cat rooms, an enclosed exterior "catio" porch, and administrative offices providing a well-organized, functional space that supports the organization’s mission of compassionate animal care and successful adoptions.
