This unique project seamlessly blends winery production and tasting/event spaces with the client’s passion for pre-WWII vintage Chris-Craft wooden boats. The structure, a metal building with insulated panels, applied vertical battens, and a standing-seam metal roof, was designed to resemble an understated barn while incorporating all the modern systems necessary for wine production.

Though ultimately planned to function as a full wine production facility, the large open production area currently showcases a curated selection of the client’s boat collection alongside wine tanks, creating a striking visual experience. The interior also includes a tasting room, offices, and restrooms.

An exterior crush pad and a large canopy-covered area support seasonal harvesting operations. Expansive landscaped grounds wrap down to a private on-site lake, offering flexible space for events and recreational activities, complete with docking access for the vintage boats and further uniting the client’s passions in one thoughtfully designed destination.
