Lake Sonoma Winery - Sbragia

In collaboration with Ed Sohl, AIA, and the client, we designed a contemporary winery and event center nestled into the hillside at the upper end of the Dry Creek Valley. The two-level structure thoughtfully integrates wine production with guest experiences in a striking natural setting.

The main level includes a tasting room, commercial kitchen, restrooms,offices, and flexible event spaces. Below, the lower level houses wine production operations, including fermentation tanks and barrel storage, ensuring a seamless connection between production and presentation.

An expansive deck extends from the tasting room, offering panoramic views across Dry Creek Valley toward Healdsburg. This outdoor space provides ample seating and is ideal for weddings and large gatherings. Conveniently located along the scenic route to Lake Sonoma, the venue has become a popular destination for visitors seeking both exceptional wines and memorable events.
